Labyrinth

This print features a Minotaur in a maze of what was at one point words but became the labyrinth the Minotaur was trapped in just as words trap us. This work was inspired by Greek mythology with the consideration as to what a modern labyrinth would be. Words would be the new walls that trap the minotaur, as words that have been uttered in the past trap us and force us to face the realities of what we said. The words are distorted as it is less about the words and more about the fact that they were said and that we cannot take them back and they can haunt one for the rest of their lives.
